LAAFA has an “Institutional Approval” to operate, granted by the Bureau for Private Post-secondary Education (BPPE), a division of the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs (www.bppe.ca.gov).  In addition, LAAFA’s full-time Degree and Certificate Programs are approved by National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
