This highly interactive class is for all skill levels and offers a practical approach to landscape sketching on location, from imagination or from photographs. Through lectures, exercises and demos you will receive instruction on composition, color choices and painting techniques. We will use watercolor and gouache to explore the atmospheric effects of transparency and opacity in our paintings. This class focusses on making multiple small-scale sketches and studies which help you find your own unique and personalized approach to landscape painting and environment design.
